After realizing the tremendous demand for sensory therapy, weighted items in Canada,
Val's Kids Line has decided to bring out a new line just for weighted materials and other special needs items! We hope to provide these items to families in Canada at a much more reasonable cost. With much research on these items I have realized that, the prices are outrageous and are not within reach of many families.
Attention parents, please don't be mislead by thinking you have to order these special weighted sensory items for your children ONLY through US catalogs, because you don't! I receive many emails and phone calls from parents and teachers telling me this is the only option they have. No you don't, you can buy in Canada by a proudly Canadian Small Business.
With this sensory input of weight and pressure in these items they will make people more calm , less restless and less anxious or stressed. Without someone always being there, these items will always provide the sensory support they need. Please note: Our blankets ( comforters) & lap pads are for children, teens, and adults that are affected by Autism Disorder, ADHD, ADD, PDD-NOS, Sensory Integration Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Alzheimer's, Restless Leg Syndrome, Menopause and Insomnia.
All of my items are machine washable in warm water and may be tumble dried in the dryer. Please remove all weights ( as they are all easily removable except for the blankets) before washing!

Val's Weighted Vests:
These vests will help children have a feeling of calmness while wearing them, also giving them a sense of being grounded.
Each vest I will make, has a child friendly print with pockets on the front. Inside is a total of eight pockets holding equal amount of weights.
Vests are velcro front closures, with your choice of play buttons or no buttons at all on the front.
Weights are rice and are removable for washing purposes.
