After realizing the tremendous demand for sensory therapy, weighted items in Canada, We have decided to bring out a new line just for weighted materials and other special needs items! We hope to provide these items to families in both Canada and the US at much more reasonable cost. With much research on these items I have realized that, the prices are outrageous and are not within reach of many families. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Weighted Vests: These vests will help children have a feeling of calmness while wearing them, also giving them a sense of being grounded. Each vest I will make, has a child friendly print with pockets on the front, these are only for the child's use.Not for weights! Inside is a total of eight pockets holding equal amount of weights. These vests are Velcro closed with play decor buttons if you wish. All of my stitch work is hidden, you will not see it anywhere from the outside. So the back and inside work on my vests and clean and tidy to the finest detail. Weights are only approx. As they are adjusted by the child's weight. Sizes 2 - 8 filled with 5% of the child's weight. All vests filled with the right amount of weights are all $55.00 no matter the amount of weights! *** Do you need a second vest? *** we offer a $10.00 discount on the second vest.Both vests must be bought at the same time in order to get the $10.00 off. These blankets will be a calming and slowing down of the nervous system for these children. They can come in whatever print style you can think of! The recommended weight included in the blanket is 10% of the child's body weight plus a pound. Weights will be placed in a evenly manner inside the comforter and the weights are not removable. They are filled with tiny poly pellets. According to the Poly Pellet company these pellets are hypoallergenic and are non-toxic. Any print you like with a cotton plain print on the reverse.
